Confirming that which we already knew, Microsoft has finally revealed that the matte black and technically tweaked Xbox 360 Elite will indeed arrive in Europe on August 24.

Pricing of the European Elite remains a mystery, but current suggestions indicate that Euro gamers may be subjected to yet more undeserved financial hardship courtesy of Microsoft when the 120GB monster launches on August 24. A figure of €449 is presently being banded about, which is $150 USD more than the $479 USD it's currently selling for in the US.

At Microsoft's pre-E3 press conference, the American software giant has finally announced that Europe will indeed play catch-up with North America when the Xbox Elite goes on sale in the region on August 24.The revelation confirms earlier rumours that the 120GB version of Microsoft's home console will reach Europe on said date.
