The first wave of 3D updates for select PS3 titles will hit June 10 alongside a firmware update. According to SCEJ, titles receiving the 3D treatment include Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD, and PAIN.

The wait is nearly over. After months of dangling the proverbial carrot in front of our faces, Sony has finally pinned down a firm date on the PS3’s next firmware update. You know, the one that’ll add stereoscopic 3D support. It’s due out June 10 and will bring with it several 3D-enabling titles at launch, including Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD and PAIN.

    Ah dammit. These are getting bigger and bigger, my memory stick could only barely hold the last one. They really have to stop including the previous updates in each new System Update. =/
