Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature a distinct co-op mode with the single player mode. The co-op promises also to be different from the Spec Ops missions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Treyarch announced in an interview with MTV that the “single-player is the epic, cinematic, seat-of-your-pants thrill ride that you star in,” and precised that the cooperatives feature will be packaged in a separate “unique co-op modes.”
