Bruce Jamar Walston from Staunton Virginia was playing a video game at his girlfriend's house when her kitten accidentally unplugged the console. What happened next is absolutely brutal

The cat didn't survive the impact and his girlfriend called the cops soon after.

Even though the video game had no influence towards what he did and even with the fact that he has a past history of violence this will still get blamed on video games.

Because while it shows that video games are in the centre of violence. It also shows that clearly this guy has anger issues and that video games wasn't a direct cause of this.

In fact you look back at any article like this, you will see many patterns of mental distress and other notifications that video games aren't to blame

As gamers...we know this but to haters, it is a reason to shut down video games, to parents, it's another reason to shield their kids from life and to everyone else, it's something to gossip over.

To be honest, I think I should have been a therapist and all those other long titles that deal with psycho babble because obviously people in the world need guidance on who is mentally whacked

Maybe this will encourage the companies to make... er... firmer plugs/sockets.

I friggin hate it when gaming's name is tarnished because of these psychopathic dickheads 'happened to have played a game once in their life'. Can we please put some more responsibility on the *bleep* rather than trying to find a scapegoat?

Pisses me off to no end.
