Holy crap that looks amazing, watched the trailer over at the E3 site before. It's like WET but this time it's actually y'know GOOD.

Anything that can be described as like WET can not be good.

I was going to go with "WET is not very difficult to beat" but you nailed it anyway Hideo.

Rofl well good point, it was a terrible game >_> but this looks promising, i've always liked Itagaki's work.

Oh, Itagaki's work was fine until he ruined Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive with their most recent iterations.

What was wrong with Ninja Gaiden? I thought it was awesome.

Ninja Gaiden was awesome. Ninja Gaiden 2, and Sigma 2, were what I meant by recent iterations.

They failed to match the Xbox 1 titles.

Because they focused on gore and tits too much in each iteration. Gore is fine though, it was cool how you had all of those different kills based on which limbs were gone and all of that.

Then Sigma 2 came around and suddenly people's bodies were filled with rainbow sparkles and candy. Which is probably why they did half damage.

Ninja Gaiden Black was probably the best of the newer Gaiden series.

Not bad, seems a bit mindless though. Kinda strange to see Itagaki behind a multiplatform title though, after being so firmly behind the 360 with his games. Guess he didn't have much choice.

Yeah when Microsoft was funding his stuff he could keep almost everything 360 only. I believe he would have gone to Microsoft first with this but after the less than emphatic success of Ninja Gaiden 2 they probably turned him down.
