Dead Space 2 will show off its PS3 love by having the Limited Edition exclusive to the PS3. So what comes in this edition that makes it so special? Well how about the prequel to Dead Space 1, Dead Space: Extraction. It will be upgraded to play in HD, trophy and Move support. Now that is a reason to buy the limited edition.

Some great news for Sony Playstation fans who feel that maybe they didn’t see enough exclusive content coming their way. Visceral Games, one of EA’s subsidiary studios, announced exclusive content for the PS3 version of the Limited Edition of Dead Space 2. This isn’t your typical exclusive skin or piece of DLC, no, Visceral is packing in Dead Space Extraction on the Limited Edition of Dead Space 2. Dead Space Extraction was the critically acclaimed prequel game for the Dead Space series that was originally seen on the Nintendo Wii, and will now be featuring support for the Playstation Move motion controller.
Re-worked in full HD, Dead Space Extraction on the Dead Space 2 Limited Edition will offer the entire single player campaign, including trophy support, as well as co-op gameplay and support for the PS Move motion controller as well as the standard Dualshock and Sixaxis controller support. Dead Space Extraction will also be available for stand-alone purchase via the PSN Store.
