Upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D is a Full New Game.

Nintendo earlier revealed the appearence of a 'Kingdom Hearts 3D Demo' for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS.

Now, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto has announced that it will be a full, brand new entry into the Kingdom Hearts francise.

KH:3D, along with the recently announced Re:coded, will be launching possibly sometime next year.

Slides at the press conference listed the game as "Kingdom Hearts 3D Demo." However, Nintendo's press materials listed "Kingdom Hearts Franchise." So is 3DS going to get an actual Kingdom Hearts game?

The answer is yes. In a set of posts at the Square Enix Members Twitter, Hashimoto provided clarification on the matter. "KH3D is a completely original title," he Tweeted.

    I mean there was no mention of either KH3 or FF Versus XIII, but this is a fine consolation prize!

    nice.......a DS version and a lot cooler version of the kingdom hearts game
