The first 16 songs of Rock Band have been officially announced, along with the news that Rock Band will support full album downloads. The first full album that will be available for download is The Who's 1971 release, Who's Next. Harmonix will be giving us content updates weekly when the game is released, so you may want to prepare your hard drive.
The 16 known tracks to be in Rock Band are as follows. An asterisk to the right of the name means it is a cover (meaning those without are based on master recordings)

As part of the ongoing explosion of juicy Rock Band info at E3 (need we say anything more than METALLICA ARE IN ROCK BAND?), MTV and Harmonix have announced that the game will be the first to offer full-length albums for download. Yes, full albums! There's no doubt that this is an important step forward for the genre, allowing fans to play all the way through some of the most classic rock albums of all time with friends. In short, it's going to be brilliant. So what's the first full album that will be available for the game after its release? The Who's 1971 rock classic, Who's Next. Of course, that's only the beginning - Harmonix is promising weekly content updates for the game after launch, so you can expect many more exciting artist and album announcements over the next few months.
