Sly Cooper is making his way to the PS3 in a remastered collectors edition. The PS3 version will be upgraded to play in HD, support both 3D and Move as well as having Move mini games and trophies. Quite a lot of new stuff to make the purchase worthwhile.

Due out this autumn, The Sly Collection brings the three PS2 Sly Raccoon/Sly Cooper games together on one Blu-ray disc for PS3 and, like the God of War Collection, updates the visuals so they are HD.

On top of that though, it also expands on the flimsy 3D effects in Sly 3 so they are proper and in-keeping with Sony's new attachment to the stereoscopic format, and there's the promise of PlayStation Move mini-games too.

Okay. I like this. Not only was Sly Cooper a blast to play, this means more companies are most defnitely considering doing "collections" like this. I wish Capcom would do a DMC collection, or Konami doing another MGS collection.

GOW 3 collection sold well, and if this sells well I hope a lot of companies follow suite.

Especially with 3D as a new feature. HD was a good enough excuse now they can make their old games HD, make them look a bit better but see them in an entirely new dimension. The 3D bit seems to be the big pull for these remakes going forward.

But will we be seeing Sony Only game/Exclusive games, are could we see some games that were multiplat, like PoP and LoK?

I've always wanted to try out the Sly Cooper games, sounds like an excuse to me.
