Have Some Ice-T With Your Gears

Microsoft and Epic are pulling out all the stops in next years (sure to be) blockbuster Gears of War 3. With an already stellar cast returning from previous games, Ice-T has joined the party.

Microsoft and Epic Games announced that renowned rap artist, actor and videogame aficionado Ice-T will voice the role of Griffin, a new character in “Gears of War 3,” releasing only on Xbox 360 in April 2011. Ice-T joins the cast with fellow hip-hop sensation Drake, bringing their voices and personalities to new characters in the “Gears of War” universe.

      They use their voices to act like they make good music for a living. Sound like voice actors to me

        I've never found that very convincing..so they must not be very good voice actors.

      Keep in mind what kind of characters are in the Gears of War series. These are guys that look like that take anabolic growth steroids the way normal human beings drink water. You aren't going to see guys like Morgan Freeman doing the voices here.
