With 3D all over the place at E3, Microsoft seemed to be the loan console maker that wasn't promoting 3D. It wasn't because the Xbox 360 isn't capable though.

Sony is pushing 3D on the PS3 hard with a recent update to the system that enabled 3D games and a future update that will enable 3D Blu-ray movies. The move is understandable because Sony is also in the business of selling 3D HDTVs. However, Microsoft is not in the business of selling TVs so they are taking a more laid back approach with the Xbox 360 and waiting to see how the market shapes up.
