Wondering if Alan Wake 2 will eventually happen? Well so is Remedy as they wait for the green light from Microsoft on whether or not to go ahead with the sequel.

Remedy was already talking about plans an Alan Wake sequel before the game was even released back in May. However, while the game's developers are raring to go with a sequel, Microsoft is taking a more cautious approach with the sequel for the psychological horror game.
