PS3 owners will need Playstation Plus subscription for Hulu Plus

Neither Sony or Hulu have announced it officially but Hulu's website confirms it. A Playstation Plus subscription will be required for PS3 owners to get Hulu Plus.

When Hulu Plus was announced as coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360, it was specified that an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription was required for 360 owners but nothing was mentioned for the PS3 one way or the other. Neither Hulu or Sony have made an announcement but the Hulu website appears to confirm that a Playstation Plus subscription will be required to access Hulu Plus.

    It was always going to make sense I mean Hulu Plus is the premium version of Hulu. It makes sense for the Hulu Plus subscription to be included in the Playstation Plus one.

      It's not going to be included with a Playstation Plus membership, it will be $9.99 extra each month. For Xbox 360 you need to pay $9.99 per month on top of your Gold membership to get Hulu Plus, so it will be the same deal for Playstation.

      So it's a kind of a rip off considering you still have to watch commercials.
