If Bobby Kotick didn't exist, we would have to invent him to size up the perfect corporate villain in the video game world. Granted, all business are about maximizing profits but Kotick does it in his own special way.

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick isn't shy about voicing his thoughts on increasing revenue for his company. Previously, he said he would like to have an online subscription model for the Call of Duty games but how does he feel about current console subscription models? In short, he feels that Activision need to be more active in getting revenue from Xbox LIVE while moving gamers away from both PSN and Xbox LIVE.

I really dislike this guy, he does not care about the customers AT ALL. I hope the opposite of whatever he says comes true. Horrible public relations Activision has.

Agree 100%. Effectively killing their prized dev team apparently doesn't mean squat. The fact that they took down the Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC without a proper explanation, and are bringing it back out of the blue goes to show you they think they're more than capable of jerking the customer around without a second thought. Until an effective form of competition topples Call of Duty, they're going to keep at it. Here's hoping Medal of Honor kicks its ass proper.

lol, Bobby Kotick. This is the man who literally said this during a public speech:
    quote Bobby Kotick
Most of the 20 years, that I have provided for growth at Activision, we were content to make products that are attractive to the 16-35 year old guy who has gotten no date for Saturday night.
    *bleep*ing joke.
