Possibly the biggest PC release of the summer has some news on the 3D front. While I'm not sure how 3D will benefit a game like StarCraft II, Blizzard says it will come.

If the year 2010 was to be called the year of anything in the video game world it would probably be called "The Year of 3D announcements" as the number of big name games such as Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 announcing 3D support continues to grow. The latest game to do so is Blizzard's StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. But don't expect to jump into the war between the humans, Protoss and Zerg in 3D right away.
