PlayStation Plus Not Required for Hulu Service

Hulu Plus was recently announced and along with it came the announcement for the home console support. However most people were angry that they would have to pay an extra $50 for XBL or PSN plus on top of the $10 for Hulu Plus. But now it seems that PS3 owners will not have to pay extra for PSN Plus to watch Hulu on their home console.

Early reports for the Hulu service on the PS3 stated that PlayStation Plus would be required in order to take advantage of the streaming service. But just today a Hulu representative has confirmed to IGN that you will not need PSN plus to use Hulu Plus. The confusion came from the fact that you will need PSN plus in order to take part in the preview period. Once it goes live for everyone, every PlayStation owner will be able to access Hulu Plus.

      I doubt it Almost everything for the 360 that is online based requires a Gold account. Unless they decide to completely restructure their current system, that is.
