Due to lack of high sales and mixed reviews, Sega President has officially announced that they will not be publishing a sequel to Alpha Protocol in the future.

SEGA West President, Mike Hayes, has confirmed to CVG that SEGA won't be publishing a sequel to Obsidian Entertainment's 'Espionage RPG,' Alpha Protocol

    Back on topic, that's actually a shame, Alpha Protocol on it's own isn't bad, it just lacks a serious amount of polish, if that polish was there in the sequel the game would be great.

    Me too, it's the only game I've played recently that had a actually kept me entertained for more than 30 hours. Plus finding it in Gamestop's trade-in/discount bin was a plus.

    They didn't do a good job of putting the promotions out...when the game was being released. I saw a multitude of advertisements around the holiday season but nothing since then.

      I noticed that too. But with all the other games coming out/were out and with the coming of the World Cup you can see why the commercial slots would be a bit oover booked this time of the year.

    I think the constant delays made no sense, they finally released it in a month that includes Red Dead and Alan Wake. Lacks sense.
