Here is perhaps the first shot of Sony's redesigned SIXAXIS Controller, it retains its ability to sense motion while now being able to rumble based on events happening in your game. On the weird side of things it seems the left control stick and D-pad have swapped places, real or fake who knows?

There is either a new SIXAXIS controller for the PlayStation 3 available, or there is a very bored designer trying to find ways to illustrate an online story about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

The first design looks like the XBox controller.

I would not mind a 360 controle for the Ps3 to be honest so if that is the case keep going ^^

Looks kind of weird to me.

Given that the D Pad indent is still under the new position of the analogue stick I'm a bit skeptical as to the validity of the image. Until there's some sort of official announcement then it can't be taken completely seriously yet.

No, for me it looks like a regular controller

Looks auful but I see what they are doing. I personally just like the Ps2 layout for the console and they should just leave it at that, or just take a lot more time in it and come up with something better.

Yeah, I doubt it both for the aforementioned point about the D-Pad indentations still being there, AND for my own personal doubts about Sony changing their classic (and very much loved) design....

It is fake the redesign has no PS Button... So there is no way it would work for a PS3 nor would Sony have an advertising screenshot of the new PS3 controller with an Xbox 360 game clearly behind it.

I think it does have a PS button...

But the original one is fine for now.

Odd. I doubt I'd get this controller because of the D-pad and analog switch, looks like the 360 one alright. Personally, I like the PS controllers best, just feels more comfortable, button placement and all.

The placement of the two analog sticks is what makes the SIXAXIS so great. Looks like a fake.

The only thing I like about the 360 controller is that indent on the anologs for yor thumbs. Its more comfortable.

Looks a little odd still better than not having one also the 360 controller is fairly comfortable so I wouldn't mind to much if it had some resemblance.

It blatantly looks fake to me, but I want them to do it just to see the net get flooded with nerds screaming about Sony copying the competition again.

You'll see on the changed controller two obvious indications that it is fake.

First and foremost the controller is out of date - it has no PS2 button, and is a visual adaptation of the DualShock 2.

Seconly, the slight indent where the d-pad buttons were, forms a cross. This still remains under the newly positioned analogue stick.

Whoever thought this was real has the IQ of a troll.
