Now that gaming guitars are on their way to store shelves, gamers are faced with the decision of which guitar control and game is best suited for their rocking needs.

As an avid musician, I was pleased to be covering the most innovative musical games of E3. No, I'm not talking about Guitar Hero, but a game where you can play with an actual six stringed guitar. With many competitors fighting to receive credit for this new technology, I decided to take a closer look at the different products and give you my inside opinion on the goods and bads of this new technology

    Wow so now we need video games to make us pick up actual guitars. The youth of today sucks and I'm sad to be part of it.

    I wish they would just make some sort of adapter that you can plug any electric guitar into your console with. I would think we would have the technology for it to read the frequencies in real time, but maybe I'm wrong. If they ever did make it, it would work great with Rock Band 3's pro mode. I would love to be able to use my own guitar on the game.
