This is good to hear because current model is pretty bad when compared to the competition. You never know what is coming until the day of release, etc. They just need to make sure they start doing license transfers too.

Nintendo's DSiWare and WiiWare have been moderately successful digital content distribution platforms for the Nintendo DSi and Wii. However, they have not fully realized the potential of digital distribution in the way that the Xbox 360, PS3, or PC have. According to Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, that will change starting with the Nintendo 3DS.
