Square Enix still wants Final Fantasy XIV on the Xbox 360

I don't know how many Xbox 360 gamers were hoping for a version of Final Fantasy XIV Online on their console of choice. But after previous comments from Square, these have to give some hope.

We previously reported that Microsoft's "closed environment" for Xbox LIVE was keeping the MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV Online, from making it to the Xbox 360. However, there is still a faint glimmer of hope for those hoping to see the online game from Square Enix expand beyond the PC and PS3.

    Well SE has done a pretty good job of sucking up to Microsoft so far this generation, I can imagine they'll find a compromise to get yet another item of software on the 360. Just about everything they've made has been.

    I think Microsoft should open up for MMO's, its not like it'll hurt them any.

      Sure, but they also have many other points to look at aswell. They have budgets, the customer expectancy, and so on. I think its fine how it is at the moment. But, some change would be nice..

    I reckon the 360 will get it eventually, but probably a fair bit later after a lot of talks.

    I would rather have versus XIII on 360. Hopefully it's possible.
