You cant go wrong with adding a Co-op option to your game. In the recent Issue of FirstPlay, the online magazine, confirmed that the game will receive the co-op treatment.

The inclusion of a co-op mode has been rumored before, but the preview now tells us that despite not knowing much about multiplayer, “we do know that Guerrilla is working on a special objective-based 4-man co-op mode to go with the standard 2-player stuff.”

What's that I hear? Oh that sounds like the sound of people stampeding to pre-order this game. This feature is probably the number one most asked for feature for fans and none fans of Killzone 2.

      OMFGHFSJCOMGBBQ! *stampedes towards Gamestop*

But seriously, Killzone 3 is now my most looked forward to title of two thousand and ever...

Unless infamous 2 comes out with something just as epic.

Co-op was something a lot of people wanted, so good to hear that. Sounds like the two player will follow the story, while four player will be some other kind of mode.

I sorta clocked onto the 2 player story co-op when the dev's where talking about how Rico will be able to pick you up when you're downed and etc which is a fairly classic co-op feature (Reviving your allies or laying on the ground near death and watch some useless muppet run around screaming "I CANT FIND YOU" into his microphone...good times.) 4 player will probably be a bit like survival or something.

4 player co-op? Nice! Something similar to Resistance 2´s co-op mode, perhaps..?
