Microsoft sees 'core' games for Kinect within 18 months

After the E3 press conference that went casual heavy for Kinect, Microsoft has tried to convince 'core' gamers that they aren't going to be ignored. Hard to tell if that message is getting through.

After the official price announcement of the Kinect camera for Xbox 360, Microsoft has again tried to reassure "core" gamers that the new motion control camera isn't solely for casual gamers. Chris Lewis of Xbox EEMA says that hybrid games that use both the controller and the Kinect camera will come within the next 18 months or so.

    Assuming it doesn't die first, they'll hopefully get desperate and decrease the price a couple times between now and then. That combined with the supposed 'core' games could make it actually worthwhile.

    It'll die before then, if it doesn't then Xbox will probably die 'cause real gamers don't want this shit.
