Halo: Reach has received an MA rating in Australia after the classification board modified it to be able to be bought here. That could involve major tweaking of the game and overall removal of some features.

Currently there are no reports on what has been modified but something drastic must have been done if Halo: Reach now has an MA15+ rating here, where the other Halo titles only received an M15+. Has Bungie added in anything too mature for Australian gamers?

You have got to be *bleep*ing kidding me.

Halo is not a MA game, its barely a M game.

These douchefags are just attention whores, they let plenty of lesser known games go through and as soon as a big one comes up they try and ban it so it seems like they're doing their *bleep*ing jobs properly. WHICH THEY AIN'T.

Halo Reach is definately not more violent than God of War 3 (which got through unedited).

    Guess I'll be importing again

EDIT: Also, if Reach had to be edited, I hold grave fears for what they're gonna do to Gears of War 3...

Thought I'd post that it seems that this article is mis-interpreting some of the information that has been presented.

Apparently, Reach was submitted in an unfinish build and was classified MA, it was then submitted again in the finished build and classified MA again. The 'modified' is just to say that the classification has been updated for the latest classification (though technically it stayed the same).

This dude explains it very well.
