Capcom has recently revealed that an online Street Fighter III: Third Strike is currently in the works. With Third Strike originally release 11 years ago, I think this is a "remake" worth waiting for!

Speaking during the firm's Comic-Con panel, producer Yoshinori Ono announced that the game will be released sometime next year.

Originally released for arcades in 1999, Third Strike was developed as a direct sequel to Street Fighter II. Offering a choice of 19 warriors, the online edition is expected to feature revamped graphics and will focus on network combat.

Capcom also unveiled a dual crossover between the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises during the event.
