Valve will be reversing erroneous Steam account bannings from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Those affected will receive a free digital copy of Left 4 Dead 2 (plus an extra copy as a sending gift) as compensation.

    Valve seem to be feeling generous. I mean you lose out on two weeks of MW2, and suddenly you're getting a $70 game for free.

      Only L4D2 on PC is about $30, though even that is quite high considering the game goes on sale almost every 3 weeks or so at which point it's about $10.
