Another online game for the Wii. This time it has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 3 will have online play while the PS2 gets a disc fusion.

In a press release issued by the company yesterday, Atari confirmed that the Nintendo Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will feature head-to-head online play.

“Bringing online play to the Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a fantastically exciting innovation which has been long awaited by the fans and takes the gameplay to a whole new level,” said Mathieu Piau, Product Manager, Atari Europe. “The Disc Fusion system for PlayStation 2 gives an extra special bonus to the faithful fans who’ve followed the series from the start, and it all adds up to an absolutely unmissable Dragon Ball Z fighting experience.”

Sweet, online play, that oughta make Wii owners happy. I just hope that the gameplay is more fair than in BT2 for online play. I'm also interested in the PS2 version. I have every DBZ game for that console to date, can't wait to see what bonuses comes with that.
