Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

According to Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's CEO, the Wii's Lineup is balanced. He never expected to release many games for this fall, since Nintendo is focusing on quality, not quantity.
"I think its balanced. Rather than quantity, we wanted to show quality. We could show, like with Wii Sports, showing to the core gamer what kind of new gaming experiences they can have if Nintendo is going to introduce them to the Wii version of traditional Nintendo franchises. I think we have enough titles to satisfy gamers from now until next year," explained Iwata.
"It was important for us to further expand the market for core gamers and we featured Wii Fit today to introduce gaming to somebody new. The people who didnt pay attention to Wii Sports and never thought of having a game machine at home. We think they may be interested in fitness. Its a balanced line-up we showed today. Im serious we would like to make Wii the best-selling console in the history of video games."

I'm happy that we are getting these games soon, can't wait to play Brawl...just not good in terms of business.
Third party games always have trouble competing with Nintendo's big franchises, and with them all coming out this year, it should open the door for the third parties to get a piece of the Wii pie.
It would make me happy too.
I owned a Gamecube for a few years, and on the Wii's launch day I almost already owned the same amount of titles I did for my Gamecube's entire life span. Now I've already well surpassed that number. I am really glad to see Nintendo doing so well and not just in the handheld market. At least they have their hit titles spread out some and not all coming out in the same month too.
