Electronic Arts have released some huge news today, with the confirmation that an inevitable Battlefield 3 is in development. Multiplayer is a huge part of the Battlefield games and EA will once again be running a beta, which you can acquire an access code for by purchasing the Limited Edition of the upcoming Medal of Honour game.

EA have today come out and confirmed that Battlefield 3 is currently in development and that a beta will be released to ensure the multiplayer aspect of the game runs smoothly. If you’re a fan of series and want a piece of the action, you’ll have to purchase the upcoming Limited Edition version of Medal of Honour in order to receive a Beta code.

    So is it going to come with a campaign, or will it be multiplayer only like BF2 for the PC? It would be pretty interesting to see them make a completely serious campaign, instead of one that tries to humor you. Not that I didn't enjoy Bad Company campaigns, but still.

    They'll probably just tag on another mediocre campaign and concentrate more on the multiplayer side of things
