While recent E3 unveilings of future games have only served to concentrate the summer frustrations of gamers everywhere, GamerSquad still braves the dirge in order to bring you the latest weekly release lists from both side of the Atlantic.

It's pretty barren on both fronts to be honest... check it out.

The new release list issued last week – directly prior to the start of the E3 Business & Media Summit – was perhaps the worst GamerSquad has seen in a long while, although certainly indicative of the shifting industry focus to the high profile events in Santa Monica.

This week, folks in North America can grab a slice of varied sports-based releases, with the likes of NCAA Football 08 arriving on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox, and PS2, while Hot Shots Tennis and Rugby 08 smash onto the PS2, and Smash Court Tennis 3 serves up some fun on the PSP. Oh, and there’s also The Darkness for the PlayStation 3… though it may well slip.
