Heavenly Sword Demo Completed But Not Available...Yet

As previously reported a Heavenly Swords Demo was in the works, and it seems that there has been comfirmation to this to the extent that Mike Ball, the head developer has stated that the Demo is now complete.

People at home really want to get hands on too. Well, let me just tell you all that the dev team has finished work on the demo.. that’s it… it’s in the bag… so now it’s a case of Sony deciding when they feel is the best time to release it to PlayStation Network.

Well that's obviously good news (that the demo has been completed) but why are we having to wait for the demo to be released? Sony should already know that players are honestly itching to get their hands on the Demo, so what's with the waiting. Well hopefully Sony will listen to the cries of the fans, and release it sometime this week.

Also mentioned in his post was that the game is pretty much finished, with only the bugs needing to be ironed out, so those who have already been convinced to get the game, will be able to get it pretty soon.

The Ninja team is now in the closing stage of development. We are quite literally fixing bugs and then it's done. In fact today is Saturday and a large proportion of the team are all in the office fixing those bugs (thanks guys and gals!).

When it's done the Ninjas are all gonna enjoy some sunshine and then think about what comes next.. Have a good summer everybody. Not long to go now!

Yay! The sooner the better. I really wanna get my hands on the combat. I got even more excited for this when I saw it on Heroes.

  I remember that episode of Heroes... I think it's been super hyped since then... and it was hyped before that as it was.

I don't mind waiting, there's no rush. It's coming out in September, Sept. 4th to be exact, so demo or no demo, I'll still get the full game on that very day

  I hopefully will too. I don't want to pre-order anything just in case I move. I have Halo 3 on reserve right now, and if I move too close to the release date I might be screwed out of one for a while. But Heavenly Sword looks like the first game that could actually hold up to the standards God of War has set for these type of combat-driven games.

They should release it at least a month before the game hits shelves (so by mid august I hope)...Its up to them, if they release it too early, people who like the demo might forget it after nearly 2 months, if they release it too late, not enough people would see it I guess...

So I bet the end of July, to mid august...
