Ever watched Mad Max movies? it first came into my mind when I found out about this FPS post-apocalyptic racing-game. It is to be released early September 2011.

You will fight mutants and berserked humans through destroyed ruins and vast deserts. Borderlands crossed my mind too!

Today at Quakecon, it was revealed that the game will be released on September 13 for the US, and September 15, 2011 for Europe. Unfortunately there was not any other tidbits of information, but they have released a couple of screen shots for you to enjoy.
