Sonic the Hedgehog fan-made animated movie back in production

Fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons on Saturday should be cautiously optimistic about recent news that a movie starring the blue hedgehog could be inching closer to reality. Rejected by SEGA of Japan, the fan-made film will feature landscapes reminiscent of the 16-bit era in videogames.

    Normally I don't like fan made stuff but if the trailer is anything to go by this just looks totally amazing!

    A combination of the animation of Sonic X and the characters and music form the best sonic series ever made in Sonic SatAM could be a true winner.

    I will be giving this a go if and when it comes out.

    Nice to know people still love the greatest games mascot ever.
