LocoRoco Heading To Playstation Network

tidus04 | July 17, 2007 | News | Playstation 3
Today Sony, during their Premier Event, they released information saying that LocoRoco will be coming to the Playstation Network featuring over 200 LocoRoco characters and also hope to take full advantages of the Sixaxis tilt controls. They are yet to release a date for this title but do say the game is 95% complete.
Ever since we got our first glimpse at Home this past Spring, the internet went a buzz with speculation if LocoRoco was heading to the PS3 due to one of the trophies displayed in the demo avatar’s trophy room being from LocoRoco.

It seems that these rumors have been confirmed today by Sony during their Playstation Premier event which is currently underway in Tokyo. “Buu Buu Cocoreccho! by LocoRoco” will be a Playstation Network download which will take full advantage of the Sixaxis tilt controls and feature 200 LocoRoco characters.

No release date has been confirmed, but Sony states the game is 95% complete. Since the game will be a Playstation Network downloadable game, maybe that means PS3 owners can expect to get the game that much sooner when the game is complete.

Sweet =D This game was a blast on the PSP, played it on my bro's. Tilting, reforming, and breaking into miniature loco roco things was entertaining, heh.

A surprisingly fun game, hopefully the SIXAXIS will be put to good use in the PlayStation 3 version.
