After its controversy of including playboy content and being banned in Singapore, Mafia II was recently accused of racial portrayal of Italian-Americans. Unico National, the accuser of Mafia II, is an organization that defends the image of Italian-Americans and try to remove their negative idea as crime lords.

Unico National demanded to halt its release until all reference to Italian-Americans are removed.
