Major Nelson unveils a new Microsoft Xbox 360 controller. The controller features a revolutionary D-pad and muted color buttons. This is definitely good news for fighting fans!

The new design features include a “revolutionary D-pad” that changes from a “disc to a plus” with just a simple twist. Other changes include muting of color as the xyab buttons have changed from colorful to white and differing shades of gray.

    The buttons look awful. How the hell did that pass without someone upstairs saying "Err... no."?

    There's also the problem of QTEs and menu interfaces, where it's often easier to see and associate the color than the letter with the location of the button.

    Pretty sexy looking, but I'm not buying an extra controller just cause it looks a bit different. I'll stick with my elite thanks.
