For better or worse, Batman: Arkham City will have some form of multiplayer added to it. Could it be cooperative or a versus mode or a combination of both?

The cover of GameInformer seemingly hinted at the inclusion of some kind of multiplayer for Batman: Arkham City for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and now an article from UK magazine, PSM3, confirms it. Unfortunately, details are light.

Well I don't think they need multiplayer is needed for a game like this but it better be co-op. I don't see how versus will work in this game

Agreed. A co-op with Batman and Catwoman would be so awesome.

Catwoman? Is this not set up perfectly for a Batman & Robin co-op campaign?

Screw Robin, we don't need his gay ass in this game.

I do not want this, multiplayer seems to be in every game and I hate it, why couldn't they just stick to single player

Considering what the developers did with the first game I'm expecting something a little special with this. I'm guessing there's going to be at least one mode where someone is Batman, and the rest are ordinary mooks, provided this is competitive we're talking about of course.
