Now only if I could get it online it would be perfect... (wireless PS3 connection)

I'm once again baffled by the decision as to why the only console port of a Monster Hunter (Unite) is only on XBOX? Like what the f***? Every other game only came out on PS2, PSP and at a push PC so how ?

Unite was exclusively for PSP. You're thinking of Frontier, which is on the 360 in Japan, and is selling well. Frontier is still an MMO on the 360 though, and was first on the PC in Japan/Korea.

I can't wait for this game. I didn't really like the decision of putting MH3 on the Wii but I'm glad I'll have another Monster Hunter game on the good ol' PSP.

Ah yeah sorry mixed titles there. Still doesn't make it sensible, Monster Hunter Tri was at first a PS3 exclusive that ended up on the Wii :/

I think it was due to budget problems or something. Either way I doubt I'm going to get MH3 any time soon.

It was never intended to be on PS3, the producer and director of the game have said so a few times now. Fans just assumed it and a week later were proven wrong.

Director even said he wanted to make a MH game on the wii from the moment the console was announced to developers. Fan speculation =/= fact.

No it was slated as a possible PS3 release they just never bothered with it when the Wii looked more comfortable a choice.

Although NOW they're probably thinking 'hm, MH Tri on PS3 with Move would be a good way to squeeze out ALOT of money from our Eastern audiences and a handful of our Western audiences.'

I agree, their reluctance to make a MH for the PS3 is baffling. Given the massive fanbase for both the PS3 and the MH franchise in Japan, they're practically guaranteed good sales from that country alone.

          Iwata Asks: Monster Hunter Tri

It was never intended to be on a Sony console, from the very start they were making a wii game. If it ever were it was years ago back in pre-production before any actual work was done.

    They're in cahoots with Nintendo!

Looking forward to this game. Dear god I hope it gets released outside of Japan!

I just hope MH4 is on the PS3. I don't really like the Wii.
