White Knight Story is a new RPG created by Level 5. They have released new information on the title including new screenshots which show how you can get your face into the game and also the layout of the worlds and landscape.

The news released is that White Knight will be set in a Medieval European Style. They then went on to say that you will be able to manipulate nearly every aspect of the face. they then go onto say that the battle system that they are using will be from previous title Rouge Galaxy and also you will be able to transform your character whilst battling.

While info concerning Level 5's new PS3 RPG, White Knight Story, has been scarce, Level 5's president Akihiro Hino shed some new light on the game today at Sony's PlayStation Premiere event in Japan.

White Knight Story will take place in a medieval European style fantasy setting. The main hero will of course fit into this setting (save for the fact that he can transform into a giant knight form).

After talking about the fantasy tone of the setting, Hino went on to explain the game's rather intricate character making system. Almost every aspect of a character's face can be manipulated, which is something rarely before seen in Japanese RPGs. Your own created character can then be put in place of any of the characters in the game, be it one of the game's 1,000 NPCs or even the main character.

White Knight's battle system will closely resemble that of Level 5's own Rogue Galaxy and make use of user customizable combos. In addition to this is of course the main character's ability to transform. Once transformed, the character will still fight along-side fellow party members despite them being roughly the size of the main character's foot.

Hino closed by saying that he knows there are very few RPGs currently on the PS3, and he's doing his very best to get this game out as soon as possible.

Huh, never heard about this game until now, and I'm liking what I'm seeing. This RPG can help fill the gap between now and FFXIII's release...or at least attempt to.

I like the ability to use your real face. I did this on Rainbow Six and I'm the best looking player on there, although I don't have anything to protect my head with...

It looks like it does a pretty good job capturing your face, and then you can continue to edit it afterwards.
