Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 5

Most of you who have seen the trailer would have guessed it already. Yes the guy in the trailer is in fact former S.T.A.R.S member Chris Redfield. Now working for an organization by the name of BSAA he is sent to the location on the trailer to investigate happenings there. It is unknown whether his intentions are for good or evil, but one thing this game will do is unravel more mystery's from RE4 that were not resolved.

This week's Famitsu has revealed more details on Resident Evil 5 which was recently shown at E3.

The story takes place roughly 10 years after the Raccoon Incident in the first Resident Evil game. The character which we've seen in the trailer is confirmed to be former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield. He now works for an organization called BSAA and was sent to a location (shown in the trailer) to investigate on a special case

    WOOOOOOOO!!!! OH HELL YEAH!

    Chris is my favorite character. I never liked Leon. And I always assumed it was Chris from the first teaser. So I'm really, really glad to see it official that he's back.

    Man now I have to get a 360.

    Chris > Leon for sure. He looks a bit different in this game, I honestly didn't recognize him. Must be because I wasn't paying attention in the trailer in the first place

    Pshhh, Leon is way cooler than Chris.


    Lord Saddler is in this game too, from RE4. It will be interesting to see how Chris deals with him...

    Also yeah, we all pretty much knew it was Chris anyway but good to hear it confirmed.
