The game is just not yet dead. 2k has gotten publication rights over the game which was over a decade in development and was recently canceled. They handed the project over to GearBox acclaimed developer behind Borderlands. Will the game finally see retail shelves under new management?

Gearbox, as has been heavily rumoured this week, has just confirmed that Duke Nukem Forever will finally release.

The news will delight and stun those who’ve followed the shooter’s development. The reveal video is experiencing some problems at the moment, so we’re still waiting for platforms and date.

Gearbox is good, and 2k is a good publisher. This game will come out, and likely be good.

Well you are either one where such a long wait makes you lose interest or you are one that the longer it takes, the more special the release becomes when finally unveiled.
