Final Fantasy Versus XIII Being Built Specifically for the PS3

Many may have jumped the gun assuming FF Versus XIII would go multi-platform like FFXIII did, FF Versus XIII developer speaks his mind on the matter stating that IF it were to ever reach the Xbox 360 it would be merely as a port, and a direct quotation confirms this.

    Nothing SE says means anything to me anymore. They simply lie about literally everything. They have not kept one promise related to FFXIII (including DLC). Nothing that comes from SEs mouth should be taken seriously...
    Wada is garbage and is ruining the SE name in more ways than one...

    I'm fine if Versus is ported later, but I'd really like that to be much further down the track, when I know everything has been fully committed to the PS3 first. Not only does that mean less delays due to the development of the port, but it means I know that the PS3 was not held back to make things easier for the other console.

      Well it's natural to be discontent when you're promised something good and then subsequently be ripped off. We've been waiting for a VERY long time, and still have a long time to wait for this game, so I can imagine people aren't going to want a half-assed job.

      Is was posted a few years ago with a different name, that name being exactly the same as this but without the word Versus in there.

    $500 says its announced to be multiplatform at TGS.

    I have no doubt that it will at some point.

      Yup, i'd bet that too, it's gonna happen, they'll turn around and say "Actually we've had a 360 version in development this whole time/it's being ported to the 360 with extra content a month after release!"
