GameSnark reports on UK newspaper -- The Daily Mail -- getting confused with which game caused a young mother to neglect her children and her pets. Screenshots showed Small World and Warhammer Online but the actual game was Facebook's Small Worlds - another example of the Daily Mail's stupidity.

Yep. The Daily Mail has screwed up a videogame story once again.

"A mother neglected her three children and let her dogs starve to death because she was so obsessed with a computer game. The 33-year-old woman played the Small World game almost non-stop on the internet for months while her children were reduced to eating cold baked beans straight from the tin with their fingers"

Only the game Small World -- adapted from a boardgame and made by Days of Wonder -- doesn’t exist. Small Worlds, developed by Outsmart, does and it’s a cutesy multiplayer game on Facebook with screenshots that look nothing like the two which accompanied the Mail’s original story.
