Japan is censoring Call Of Duty: Black Ops. Apparently their problem has to do with limbs blowing off characters. This is surprising with how many things they don't censor.

At least according to Japan’s Computer Entertainment Rating Organization while violent tentacle sex exports go unchecked. Although I don’t think they are the board that controls tentacle rape porn, so maybe I’m just being incendiary.

Not that I have any interest in COD but blowing off limbs doesn't sound good for Aus.

It doesn't seem to be rated here but Soldier of Fortune had to have limb severing removed.I wonder if because COD is such a popular franchise that they will allow that feature!

So they can have tentacle rape porn in Japan, but apparently shooting virtual guns is too much.

I want to know how extreme Treyarch are taking this as anyone that has seen some of the films they produce in Japan they are not shy when it comes to gore.
