That's right. You can have your very own [Doll] Raiden for $175! May not seem worth it, but it's got great details and authenticity, perfect for that Metal Gear Solid obsessed fan. Unfortunately, it won't make it to us in time for the holiday season. Not a big loss...if it was Snake it'd be a different story =P

Medicom Toy is readying a play date buddy for the Real Action Heroes edition of Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The high-end toy manufacturer will be releasing a 12 inch version of MGS4's Raiden in sexy, sensible heels to keep old Snake company.

At $175, it might be a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Sideshow Collectibles has quality shots of the prototype figure, one which promises price appropriate articulation and accessories. It's due to ship in Q2 of 2008, but if you've got the cash, I'd suggest putting in your pre-order now.

I might get one eventually...some day...

It would be a nice collector's item, although if I can get one of Vamp with his shirt off instead...

$175 is ridiculous. No big loss though, it's only Raiden.

oh, I thought they were making a 10$ one, I remember another company making them "Mcfarlin" or something like that? They made MGS1 and MGS2 figures... not sure if they still are.
