Oh hell yes. Oh hell, hell, hell yes. Devil May Cry with input from the guys at Ninja Theory? Oh hell yes. Heavenly Sword lacked in the combat department which kind of made the whole thing tumble but add their story/character department to DMC's combat/gameplay department and... woo, I think I need to lie down

^ So you guys aren't raging over the whole reboot thing and Dante's redesign?

Haha, that's a rare thing to see, most people I've seen on forums are freaking out.

Well they've got two options; reboot the series or work with the canon that includes Nero and DMC2 in the future. 'sides, I've never been a big fan of sequels

As for the redesign, he's a bit skinnier and has black hair. Big whoop. He starts off finishing a cigarette by putting it out in an enemy's face; he's still got everything that's important. So long as that spine spear thing isn't his main weapon, I'm happy.

I wacthed the trailer of DmC and while I have only ever bothered to play DMC1 (didn't hook me enough to want to play the others), I loved the look of the DmC trailer and I think it will be the first DMC/DmC game I will buy.

I'm not sure what to think of the change... I love Devil May Cry, always have. But part of its greatness was having Dante be so corny he's badass.

That image shows more seething angst than cocky awesomeness.

Then it's a good thing we're smart enough not to judge an entire game and the entire direction of a character by one image, I guess.

The trailer shows that he certainly moves like Dante, but I'm going to wait to see where they take this before deciding.

Creatures and the setting seem to be based around the old novelizations of when he was under the alias Tony Redgrave. And his weapon's a lot like Sparda from 1, shape-shifting depending on its use.

And his amulet looks like his amulet. And he had Eb and Iv (or something resembling them). Which makes me question how much of a reboot this is; as far as I can see though, he's still Dante and it looks like the gameplay will be along the same vein. Until we know more, what more could we ask?

He also has a white patch of hair, very hard to notice and I'm not certain it's there but I think it is, so I'm thinking this is more like a dark beginnings take on Dante back when he was 16-18. Probably before he got his corny sense of humour and was a lot more angst driven.

The white patch covers quite a bit on the back, actually. Probably a sign of his demon heritage kicking in.

Yeah I just got a better look at it when you see it as he's using his spear weapon thing. It's like most of the hair on the back of his head is white while the rest is black.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and its epic trailer showing some of the new stuff in another article.

They really went all out for it at TGS, set up little straw huts and people in MH armor including the bi-pedal cat mascots.

From is making that, Capcom's the publisher.

Though they aren't actually making half of these games. But it looks like the Street Fighter 4 engine is used in Asura.

Asura's Wrath is developed by CyberConnect2 and uses UE3
          DmC is Ninja Theory
Dead Rising 2: Case West is Blue Castle Games Capcom Vancouver
and of course Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is From x Capcom

Just saying those are the four new titles announced by Capcom; Monster Hunter Portable 3rd isn't a TGS announcement.

Redesign? You're kidding me?!? I'm not impressed.. It's like changing voice actors for a remake of a series.. *cough*DBZ Kai*cough*
