Devil May Cry is getting a reboot! It was announced this morning at the Tokyo Game Show. A new Trailer and Screenshots have been released. Dante looks pretty different.

Announced this morning at the Toyko Game Show, DMC looks to “reboot” the Devil May Cry franchise with a fresh faced young Dante . . . but is this what fans really want? Decide for yourself. Check out the new trailer and screens below:

    Always been a big fan of the DMC games, have em all still and play the first 3 on my PS2 every so often.

    Not too happy they've rebooted the franchise with a college frat boy Dante, but i'll give it time, he still looks pretty cool and his attacks are quite awesome. Need to see gameplay footage first really.

        Damn, that IS a shocker isn't it. Like I said though, the fact that this new Dante still has his badassnes intact makes me happy and with Ninja Theory in on it, it can only be amazing.

          Damn, i've heard bad things about Heavenly Sword, i'll give it a try this week, but i hope they don't screw up DMC.

          According to various sources (XBGN or w/e it's called, that Xbox site that's one of few good gaming sites in the world, is one) Itsuno (director of 3 and 4) is overseeing everything, so it shouldn't be too bad.

          Interesting, 3 was alright, not much of a fan of 4, I enjoyed it but 1 and 2 are still my favorite DMC's. I suppose if he's overseeing it then they can't ruin it too much.

          I'll buy it and play it regardless, it IS DMC afterall
