Robert (Bobby) Kodick is always saying something that gets the hairs raised on just about every games neck, be they player or in the industry.

OXCGN writer Nicholas has a look at what's happening of late, and how it seems all Bobby Kodick is after is your dollar, and nothing more. Certainly the natural progression of the gaming industry at large.

Come check it out, it's an interesting read, well worth the time to click a link.

I wake up on a Monday morning with a usual routine: eat breakfast, get dressed, check my email, and finally, see what’s up in the gaming world.

I browse a forum and see a thread with the first word “Activision.” From that moment onward, I know that Bobby Kotick is involved in the topic at hand.

Recently, Mr. Kotick has been speaking his mind quite freely.

For those of you who know of Mr Robert Kodick (Bobby), and for the select few that don’t (seriously, living under a rock can’t be too comfortable), no matter what words are uttered from his mouth, he just about always manages to stir up a storm of anger in the gaming community.

There have been three claims made by Bobby in recent times that have been stirring up much more than a storm on the vast opinionated machine that we know as the internet or world wide web.

theres a fine line of being a good CEO and making your company flourish, and of being a terrible CEO who is slowly making your customers hate you. I haven't bought an activision game since MW1, hell I didn't even buy it, and it was used.

Activision deserves a boycott even at this point.

Unfortunately, CoD and DLC packs will keep selling millions year after year. He can afford to be an ass.

Makes me especially glad I don't play COD.

Shame that Activision makes Marvel games though as I buy all the good Marvel games.

True, sad thing is many of the games warrant playing, and they know that and exploit it to the maximum benefit possible.

It's Activision's own fault really; making Kotick your poster boy is like if Germany advertised by having posters of Hitler.

I'm pretty sure eventually Germany would be attacked out of some sort of 'fear' by the U.S. or other countries if they did that. Activision is a faaaaarr smaller ordeal, and would definitely not spark some kind of mini-war or something. They do however still deserve a boycott :/

Really? It is a smaller ordeal? You mean on the grand scale Kotick, a douche, isn't as bad as Hitler, a mass murdering dictator. Really?

Well thank you for that. You learn something new everyday.
