For those of you who don't really like the idea of limited edition DS Lites with which you are stuck with long after the game you bought it for has grown out of fashion, Square Enix is offering a custom DS Lite casing for their new game 'Subarashiki Kono Sekai' (It's a wonderful world). Selling at a starting price of 1449 yen, The case will be released alongside the game on July 27th in Japan. The US version of the game is still under the process of securing its rights.

Square Enix's non-Square-Enix-looking game Subarashiki Kono Sekai is getting a custom DS Lite case. This is a very good idea! Peripheral maker Hori is releasing the casing for ¥1,449 (US $12) when the game drops on July 27. Hori's also got a Subarashiki Kono Sekai extendable touch pen if you're into that sorta thing.

Looks pretty cool. I'd rather get the Final Fantasy custom DS' though, they look better. Can't wait for this game, though

Wow, that's pretty sick.. I'd get that if it came with the slick pen. I'm glad they made it a cover, and not a limited edition DS.

It is not a bad cover, certainly something I would have on my own Ds.

If the retractable stylus actually fits/sticks into the stylus slot, this is for me.

Looks really cool, I've got to say. Will most likely get it when it comes out stateside. I just hope the material that it's made from isn't too heavy, though.

Am I the only one who finds this skin to look horrible? Not stylish at all!

Eh, it looks alright Xtrodinary...Its going for a 'classic' type of look, where the characters fade into the case (particularly the far right largest one, with his white hair fading into the case)...

Would get boring after a while though...

Oh, I'd DEFINITELY get a Disgaea custom case...but that won't happen -_- And I already have a DS anyway...

well i guess that's exactly the reason why they came up with the case in the first place. so that you won't be stuck with a custom Ds long after you are bored of the design.
