Previous hosts have been; Sean Lock, Matt Lucas and Frankie Boyle.
US Comedian, Rich Hall has been named as the host of the 28th annual Golden Joystick Awards, which is set to be held in London on October 29.
The UK telly regular follows in the footsteps of previous hosts Sean Lock, Matt Lucas, Jonathan Ross and Frankie Boyle, the latter who made a rather unfortunate joke about a Tamagotchi that almost got everyone fired.

Emma Parkinson, organiser of the Golden Joystick Awards said: "This year's Golden Joystick Awards ceremony is shaping up to be the biggest and best in the event's long standing history.
"Votes have been flooding in, and the competition for top honours is as fierce as we have ever seen. Having a comedian of Rich Hall's stature as the ceremony's host, plus our as-yet-unannounced big plans for the after-party, we're expecting it to be a night to remember."
